[Okay yeah that's enough of whatever Saiduq was doing and Kaito stands up immediately.]

I-It's okay! Let it be for now. [This is way too weird, whatever's messing with him is hurting him and...]

[This time, the spindly form of the star didn't ease out of the pain zone as quickly, and it took a few trying seconds before he could untighten himself. Even when he had, he remained in his spiky state, using his wire more like a tripod.]

[And then silence, as if he was purposefully ellipsing.]

...I do not know what has changed about me. I thought my body was infallible.

And this next part....er. Kaito wasn't sure how to bring this next part up, considering who was going to help with it.]

[Well, he sure did wind himself up tight after that was stated. He didn't...deny it outright, but given his "body language", this is clearly not a thing he wants to do.]

[True, Yamato normally listens to Kaito, but...he doesn't blame Saiduq for reacting like that after the whole 'maniacal laughter and trying to kill everyone in the room' episode.]

I would be allowing him access to myself at my weakest. You are not well-versed in magic as he is, so he may be able to act when I am unable to defend myself, and you are unable to know he is even doing anything.

[Self preservation? From ALCOR? This sure is a new development.]

I need to know he will not do anything before I can- I do not wish to put you in the middle of us, either.

Well...he's a lot calmer than...um. Last time.

[Anytime aside from that is a calm time for Yamato.]

I think he'll listen to me when it comes to this, though. Plus, he wants you to be able to look humanoid again, I know that much.

It isn't you I don't trust, Shining One. [That sounded actually painful for him to say.] I...want to trust him. But he is not the same child who once saw me as a protector.

We go back further. I have been with his family for generations, but I have watched over Yamato himself since he was very young. I kept distant from the clan, but in a way, I was his guardian I suppose.

That's what he said. It's why he panicked; he thought he was gonna die.

...it is true, I do not often take this form unless things are...extreme. This is why I do not wish to remain this way. It is more dangerous.

If it is fear that caused his reaction, then it is best I change as soon as possible. I...would still prefer to see if there is anyone else who can help, first. I do not want to cause him duress.

Yamato had the most information on hand about S-...you guys. If the demonologist guys can figure something out, then fine, but would you have the same...physiology stuff as a demon?

I am...honestly unsure. My chemical makeup is as my namesake insinuates; demons are typically made up of different things...

It...only makes me sad. And he does not even believe I have the capacity to feel emotion. So there is little point in discussing it.

[He leans back a little but for the most part let's Saiduq do what he likes, holding up his hand if it were needed.]

I guess, but talking it out helps make you feel better. Or...at least it does for a lot of people. But if you don't want to, that's fine.

...I do not believe I have ever tried doing so. Wouldn't it be rude to Yamato Hotsuin, however? It is not simply my history.
